Promises, Promises
To-day I've finally translated from the Hebrew and posted this innocent piece at the Satire page.
Vladi was faster and had already translated it two days ago into Russian.

Some background:

Two or three days ago, the Knesset commemorated the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. An M.P. member and former minister of education has invited a person who, at the age of four, for a year and a half was subjected to Mengele's horrid experiments. The M.P. member described how his mother hugged and kissed him for the last time and called out after him, "Do not forget who you are!"

This event at the Knesset was the trigger.
I'm still pondering if I have to get angered in order to write a satirical piece, or if this medium just helps a bit in confronting hypocrisy and injustice.

Thanks to Vladi for the three brand new translations, straight from the Hebrew. I'll be soon translating more into English.

The Romanian readers are welcome to visit the Tecuci pages. I'm copying there slowly excerpts from "Sodot" which were professionally translated into Romanian some time ago.

Hey, it's legal to leave a friendly comment anywhere on this blog!
